101-year-old Mann Kaur aspiring to bring gold medal for India in the World Masters Games


Proud moment for all Indians especially senior citizens as 101 year old Mann Kaur from Chandigarh aspires to bring gold medal for India in the World Masters Games in Aukland, New Zealand.
She entered athletics at the age of 93 after being motivated by her 79 year old son Gurudev Singh, who is also an athlete. In 2016 she won gold medal at Americas Masters Games for her good performance.

As a gerontologist and proud Indian I consider it my personal responsibility to spread this good news and thereby acknowledge her strength, motivation, determination and hard work. She is truly an inspiration and a perfect example of healthy, productive and active ageing.

100 Year Old Runner from India

Sharing another inspirational news about 100 year old Man Kaur from India who participated in the Americas Masters Games held in Vancouver, British Columbia and won a gold medal for her strong will power and determination to run and finish the race at such an age when for many walking is a difficult task.
